Silver King Basin Trail is a hard rated hike that totals in 18kms (round trip) however this hike is rewarded with mountainous views, and at the end of the hike stands Joe l'orsa cabin and behind it its spectacular view. to witness the valley of smithers and the bottom of the glacier.
At 8am we will be meeting up at the Smithers Safeway Parking lot at the back inbetween chevron and scotiabank. This ensures that I know who all is coming and for anyone wanting to carpool.
To reach this trail, turn onto old babine lake road (from the highway), left onto telkwa high road, right on driftwood road and stay on that road until you reach the end where there will be a parking lot for silver king basin trail and some other surrounding trails in the babine provincial park.
