The Vishaal Foundation warmly invites you and your loved ones to our Annual Wave of Light Service on Wednesday 15th October at 6.30pm.
We welcome anybody who has been touched by the loss of a baby or child at any point during pregnancy, birth, childhood, or into adulthood, to come together and float a lantern of remembrance.
The Wave of Light is a global event that falls at the end of Baby Loss Awareness Week from Monday 9th to Sunday 15th October. The Wave of Light enables families throughout the world to come together and light a candle at 7 pm in their individual time zones and leave it burning for some time. These candles are lit to create a ripple of light throughout the world, in honour and remembrance of our children gone too soon.
The event is free for attendees of all ages. We will have candles and lanterns ready for you to write your personal message before you gently float it in the lake to the voices of Sing4You choir. We hope that you will stay with us for tea or coffee after floating your candle in the lake at Herschel Park, Slough.
