This pageant is being put together and ran by Balanced Buddha Gives Back to benefit the Sligo Borough. The goal of this event is to raise funds for the rewiring of Sligo’s Christmas lights mounted on the telephone poles, with an estimated project cost of $12,600. These lights are a cherished part of our town’s holiday charm, and we want to ensure they can safely continue to bring joy to the community each year.
Miss Boo-Tiful Halloween Pageant
This will be our fist Halloween themed pageant!
Where: Sligo Rec Center
When: Sunday, October 26, 2025
Time: 1pm
Who Can Enter: Any female ages 12mo-21 years old
$75 pageant entry include: pageant and all side awards, people's choice, director's choice, charity queen and supreme titles.
$20 optional Talent (talent is scored separately)
Two outfits needed:
1. Halloween Costume OOC- any halloween themed costume
this is a halloween costume that would be worn for trick or treating. makeup/facepaint is allowed, props allowed AND ENCOURAGED!
2. Halloween OOC- any halloween themed outfit
this is an outfit, NOT A HALLOWEEN COSTUME, that is themed to halloween. Examples will be available on the event page.
NO FORMAL WEAR FOR THIS PAGEANT!
Side awards: spookiest ooc, Cutest ooc, Funniest OOC, Most original ooc!
Charity Queen will be one contestant who brings in the most funds for the cause. Feel free to set up a go fund me, ask for donations online, fundraising event, or set up at a store with a can for donations. We hope the community of Sligo will all come together to get the Christmas lights up and running before the holiday season.
