At this workshop, we will actually be processing 35-40 chickens from start to finish, and teaching you how to K*ll, scald, pluck, and eviscerate the chickens. Each attendee will have the opportunity to perform the complete process with instructor help on several birds.
We are limiting the number of participants to allow each person ample opportunity to get comfortable with the process. If you don’t want to actually participate in the process but would like to attend, you may register for viewer-only.

The day will include:
-proper equipment and DIY ways to process your chickens at home
-humane processing for a quality product
-safe-handling of birds and proper procedure of processing chickens from start to finish
-properly cutting a whole chicken into parts
-considerations for storing your birds in the freezer to maximize meat quality and longevity
