Indulge in a sweet, love filled morning at our Colorful Hearts Cookie Decorating Class, where the air will smell like warm sugar and creativity. Become a master of simple techniques that make every cookie look irresistibly gift worthy. Whether you’re crafting treats for someone special or simply savoring a little fun this class will leave you with beautifully decorated cookies—and an even sweeter set of memories.
Date: Saturday, February 7
Time: 10am-noon (class starts promptly at 10am as there is lots to do in two hours)
Cost: $36 per person with part of the proceeds to benefit the library building fund. Register one friend or family member to come with you and that person is $30. You must submit two registrations on the sign up sheet.
Register by: February 3 is required to secure your spot(s). Please pay by cash or check (payable to Chris Hunt) at the Slater Public Library by 5pm on Feb. 3. No refunds after 12pm, February 4 but you can send someone else in your place.
Seating is limited to 8 so register early!
What to expect:
• Hands-on instruction in the art of sugar cookie decorating
• Swirls of colorful icing
• Lively atmosphere perfect for kids aged 10+ and fun-loving adults
• Cookies so cute you might not want to eat or share them (but you totally should)
• Step-by-step instructions, 1 dozen sugar cookies, icing and tools needed to decorate them.
Who can join?
• Beginners welcome—no experience required!
• Register a second person with you for a discounted price.
• Participants must be 10 years of age or older and children ages 10-13 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
• Anyone who can dive in with sugary enthusiasm
