Bug Bytes: Where Nature Meets Innovation! is a 12-week program
which begins Thursday, September 18 at the Zaniac Campus in
Asheville. Grades K-8. Meets weekly. Reservations required.
Get ready to crawl, build, and code your way through the fascinating world of insects and engineering! Bug Bytes is a hands-on homeschool program that blends entomology, robotics, and engineering design into two hours of action-packed learning each week.
From exploring the anatomy of a mealworm and the flight of the
bumblebee to designing insect-inspired machines and solving real world challenges, students will discover how nature’s tiny creatures are the ultimate engineers. Each class combines scientific discovery with creative construction, introducing students to robotics, simple machines, sensors, and bio-inspired design in a fun and engaging way.
Whether you’re observing an insect under a magnifying glass or
programming a bug-bot to follow a trail, Bug Bytes is the perfect fusion of science, tech, and lots of fun!
Classes meet: Sept. 18, 25; Oct. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30;
