Neighborhood Pet Store Day is a nationwide celebration shining a spotlight on the unique role independent pet stores (that’s us!) play in our communities (that’s you!). Unlike big-box chains, local pet shops are often family-owned and deeply rooted in the neighborhoods they serve—providing expert advice, carefully selected products, and a personal touch you won’t find anywhere else. This special day is all about recognizing and supporting the small businesses that keep pets healthy, happy, and thriving while strengthening the communities we all call home.
We love inviting our local business friends to the party, and to celebrate Neighborhood Pet Store Day we’re teaming up with our friends at Oh My Cupcakes to make the day extra sweet—literally.
All you need to do is stop by their shop on Saturday September 27th for a tasty treat (they even have pupcakes for your four-legged friends!), and then bring your Oh My Cupcakes receipt to Woofs and Waves to receive a free dog chew with purchase as a thank-you for supporting local.
Your pet will be thrilled that you can choose from goodies like freeze dried chicken necks; cow, pig, or lamb ears; a gourmet small cookie; and chicken or duck feet.Have a cat? No problem - whese “raw bar” items aren’t just for dogs! Cats love to get a carnivorous snack, too.
