Great Plains Action Society brings together people of diverse backgrounds to focus on collective action that can deliver the resources, knowledge and skills we need to sustain collective liberation. Dr. Damita Brown will lead us through this three-part webinar which she developed specifically for GPAS. Community based educator and activist, Dr.Brown is the founder of Heart Light Action which teaches contemplative social action for educators and activists. The series will focus on ways to help us revisit our strategies for doing solidarity work in these fascist times.

Part 3 - Proactive Strategies for Collective Liberation

The final session charts our most proactive response to contemporary challenges evident in threats to resources and services, efforts to distort or erase our rich histories. We will look at the strengths and weaknesses in our approaches to alternative community building and solidarity work. Each participant will come away with a practical action plan for next steps.
