County Convention

Democrats in Sioux County who were elected to serve as County Convention delegates will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday morning, March 21, at the Sioux Center Public Library. The main order of business will be to elect delegates and alternates to the Iowa Democratic Party's District and State Conventions, as well as to choose committee members for those conventions. County Convention delegates will also discuss and adopt the county party platform. Any registered Democrat may run to serve as a delegate to the District and State Conventions, even if they aren't a County Convention delegate. However, in order represent Sioux County at the district and state level, they must be elected by this year's County Convention delegates.
