What can centuries of Asian wisdom teach us about staying cool in a warming world? In this deeply textured conversation moderated by HOT BODIES Curator Hanyi Lee, we speak with TingTing Zhang, CEO, Singapore Fashion Council, Daniela Monasterios-Tan, Fashion Lecturer at LASALLE College of the Arts, and Afiq Juana, Co-Founder of Kebaya Societé—to uncover the heat-ready genius of traditional Asian fashion. Everything from the drape of the sarong to the technical mastery of coastal batiks.
Together, they will trace how Asia’s clothing cultures were designed for breathability, adaptability, and beauty in the tropics; and how the region is poised to lead the next wave of heat-resilient fashion.
All attendees will receive a $5 voucher to spend at the HOT BODIES Emporium.
