Understanding Your Attachment Style To Build More Secure Connections

This event is for Youth Circle Members aged 18 to 25 years old.

WHAT?

In this interactive workshop, you’ll learn how your attachment style influences your friendships and relationships. Secure attachment leads to healthy relationships. Insecure styles (anxious, avoidant, disorganized) can cause conflict and emotional distress, but self-awareness and growth can improve relationship patterns.

Walk away with techniques to navigate differences arising from different attachment styles and learn how to forge stronger and healthier connections with others.

Learning objectives:

• Understand what attachment styles are and how they are developed

• Discover your attachment style and what that means

• Recognise how your own attachment style influences your friendships and romantic relationships

• Learn how to navigate challenges that arise from different attachment styles, to build more secure connections
