SPL’s Local Authors Fair

Whether you’re a writer or a book lover, come celebrate the literary talent of the Quad Cities and surrounding areas! Our second Local Authors Fair will include presentations and an authors panel. It will be an excellent opportunity for networking as well as an inspiration to write. We’ll be launching our own version of NaNoWriMo called the SPLLAF Writing Challenge (named for the Silvis Public Library Local Authors Fair). If you dedicate yourself to writing 15,000 words during the month of November, you’ll be entered in a drawing to win writing-themed prizes. Join us and bring your friends! The presentation schedule will be announced soon.
