Five years ago, we held our 5th Annual Blogger UnConference in Washington, DC. However, due to funding and COVID constraints we were unable to bring the UnConference back until now!
This year, we're hosting the Blogger Week Content Creator UnConference (Pop-Up Edition!) - a lighter version over our usual UnConference. This is an opportunity for a fun and interactive event where content creators, entrepreneurs, and authors from all niches come together to share ideas, network, and learn from each other on all things digital media! Whether you're a seasoned content creator or just starting out, this UnConference is the perfect place to connect with like-minded individuals and gain valuable insights.
During the Blogger Week Content Creator UnConference, participants will also get to share ideas that shape the 6th Annual Blogger Week Content Creator UnConference that will be held in 2026. Don't miss out on this opportunity to grow and expand your network!

Philip Lewis is a journalist from Detroit, Michigan. He is currently a deputy editor at HuffPost. Prior to his role at HuffPost, he was a staff writer and programming editor at the millennial-based digital news outlet Mic in New York City. His journalism career began in 2015 as an editorial fellow for The Huffington Post in Washington, DC. He currently serves as the president of the Washington Association of Black Journalists.

Session: Turning Content Into Currency: The Evolution of Creation & Monetization
Jessica Ann Mitchell Aiwuyor is a multicultural communications specialist and author based in the Washington, DC area. Aiwuyor is the founder of the National Black Cultural Information Trust, Inc. NBCI Trust shares cultural information, stories, and resources that uplift the collective freedom of Black communities, while correcting cultural misinformation.
In her past role as the Associate Director of Communications at the National Fair Housing Alliance (NFHA), Aiwuyor spearheaded strategic communications for federal housing discrimination lawsuits against Bank of America, Deutsche Bank, and Facebook Inc. She also led communications efforts in NFHA’s federal lawsuit against the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) concerning the Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing rule. Additionally, Aiwuyor led communications for state lawsuits concerning race, color, familial status, and source of income housing discrimination. She was also a founding staff member of DC-based social justice PR firm, Megaphone Strategies.
She frequently appears on national media discussing disinformation targeting Black communities, African American cultural heritage and ethnicity, social justice issues, Pan Africanism, and reparations. Additionally, J.A.M. teaches about African American history and culture through her growing TikTok following. She also the author of Black Voices: Inspiring and Empowering Quotes from Global Thought Leaders.

Earnestine E. Dawson is a distinguished communications strategist dedicated to amplifying democratic voices and fostering civic engagement. Beginning her political career on President Obama's 2012 re-election campaign, she has become a recognized expert in helping public officials connect with constituents through strategic messaging and social media storytelling.
Earnestine has served in key communications roles with prominent Democratic leaders, including Leader Hakeem Jeffries, the Democratic National Committee, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, Stacey Abrams for Governor, Representative Yvette D. Clarke, and the House Democratic Caucus. Her innovative approach combines traditional political communications with digital engagement strategies, creating campaigns that spark meaningful civic conversations.
With expertise spanning grassroots organizing to high-level strategic communications, Earnestine excels at translating complex policy messages into compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences. She holds a Master's in Public Policy from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's in Mass Communication from Tennessee State University.

She’s the author of Aligned, Not Automated, host of the Fabulous Fuckery podcast, and creator of the Mindful Moments newsletter. As founder of Brée Nachelle Media and leader of the Synergy Squad accountability community, Brée teaches creators how to BREATHE through their content plans, integrate AI with intention, and build momentum with clarity and joy.
Formerly a digital strategist at NASA, she now inspires audiences to protect their creative flame while embracing mindful innovation.
