Live Music: Alex Hardesty

Alex Hardesty returns once more to Silver Plume wielding his honest - and sometimes crestfallen - song-smithing. Fingerpicking, husky and honeyed vocals, and prolific storytelling are a few of Hardesty’s mainstays as a singer / songwriter.

Hardesty’s songwriting process focuses on the poetics of quotidian life and the more complex questions just below the surface. Alex is a truly joyful and playful human, but his music borrows from the darker and melancholic threads in what he refers to as “the constant and often burdening pursuit of understanding how to be human.”
