Cobre High School Class Reunion

Cobre Reunion update:
Plans are set and we are ready to party with our old school friends. The date for the Cobre High School alumni celebration of the year honoring the Class of 1965, celebrating their 60th anniversary, will be on Saturday, August 30, at the Brown Derby in Santa Clara. The Class of 1975 will also be recognized on their 50th anniversary. Registration and t-shirt distribution will be held at 4:00 pm. Dinner will be at 6:00 pm. The dance will start at 8:00 pm with DJ Isaac Montes, Rhythms N Motion, providing the music entertainment. We have received registrations from the classes of 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1970, 1975. All classes are invited to attend. Registration fee is $50 per person. Send fee to Mary Convery in Albuquerque and t-shirt money to Antoinette Brown, sales rep for Colby's. Or, contact Esther Grijalba by private message on fb to facilitate reunion fee and t-shirt fee for local alumni. Deadline for registration is on August 15. Registration forms are available at the Brown Derby on Monday through Friday from 10 to 4. Our Master of Ceremonies will be Raul Turrieta. Prizes will be given away. Our veterans who have served our country will be given special recognition. Liquor will be allowed, with some restrictions. The liquor will be given to the Brown Derby management at the door. It will then be distributed by the bartenders throughout the evening. Security will be provided for the event. We are excited and looking forward to seeing old friends once again.
