About the event

Roaming Easels

Ready to make art in the wild? Grab your sketchbook, substrate (canvas, etc.) & roam with us! Each month, we head to a new
outdoor spot to explore plein-air painting & drawing. You bring the medium - watercolors, acrylics, pencils, whatever moves you - & we'll bring the inspiration, some easels, tips for view-finding, composition, & capturing the mood of the moment. All skill levels welcome. Check the library calendar for a new location each month-starting in September at the Library Botanical Garden. (ages 14 to 140).
