Maker Lab: Fiber Optic Fun (ages 7-11/registration required)

Calling all science kids and junior engineers! A circuit is a complete path that electricity uses to flow, like a racetrack for tiny particles called electrons. Fiber optics are a way to send information using light as it travels through hair-like strands of glass or plastic. Together we will explore these concepts and more by building our own mini fiber optic lamps! This library program is for youth ages 7-11. Registration is required at Webtrac.SierraVistaAZ.gov.
