~~THE SHOW~~
The first Tiny Fernwood Folk Show is upon us!
Come join us at Fernwoods newest bb house venue 'The Gladstudio' right on Gladstone by the square for a night of acoustic folk straight from the prairies & the north.
We've got Logan McKillop (Yukon), Colton McKillop (Winnipeg) and Martin Finnie (Winnipeg) passing through on their Western Canada Tour and they're gracing us with this opportunity to get up close and intimate here in Vic.
They'll be supported at this show by local Victoria songstress & host of the Tiny Fernwood Folk Show, Megan Adair, who will play a few songs to start out the night.
Chill weekday folk show vibes.
Done by 10pm for the workin man (and the neighbours).

~~THE VENUE~~
The Gladstudio is a fresh new Tiny House Show Venue that hopes to add a community space for music to live in our neighbourhood; an aspect of artsy lovely Fernwood that sometimes can feel hard to come by these days.
The venue is located at 1400 Gladstone in the studio behind the main house, entrance through the back gate up the driveway on Gladstone.
The venue is mostly accessible (though there is a single step/incline to get inside) and has some comfortable seating. Many may be in standing room, sitting on the floor, or even sitting on a counter. If you have mobility concerns/spatial needs please come early so we can accommodate.
~~THE LAND~~
The Gladstudio is located on unceded territory of the lək̓ʷəŋən People, known today as the Songhees & Esquimalt Nations, who have walked and lived on this land since time immemorial.
The steps we walk on this land & our ability to live, work, play, create, and be in community here must be kept close to the realities of colonization that have lead to generations who have suffered violence & trauma that must be reckoned with for countless years to come.
As artists it is as important as ever to invite communities into spaces to investigate these hard conversations in a meaningful and progressive way to create stronger and more equal communities in our future.
It's our invitation at the Gladstudio to step into this space and consider the ways in which you walk on the land beneath you; and how that currently and historically impacts the Indigenous peoples who steward this land to this day.
