Elm Tree Dedication

On the anniversary of the founding of First Presbyterian Church, the congregation and community are cordially invited to a service of Elm Tree Dedication. In 1825, eight faithful Presbyterians first gathered for worship beneath the sheltering branches of an elm tree along the Miami River. To honor their vision and devotion, and to mark the passage of two centuries, a new elm has been planted upon the church grounds as a living memorial to their legacy and a sign of hope for generations yet to come.

Following the dedication, guests are invited to a time of fellowship and refreshment at Austeria Wine Boutique.
