🍂 Paddle Into Fall on Bayou Dorcheat – October 18th
Grab your kayak, canoe, or pirogue and join us for a crisp autumn morning on the water! This year’s Fall Paddle on Bayou Dorcheat is an out-and-back route starting and finishing at the Webster Parish Public Boat Launch (Hwy 164). It's the perfect way to soak in Louisiana’s fall colors, enjoy fresh air, and make lasting memories with friends and family.
📍Launch & Finish: Sibley Boat Launch, Hwy 164 (Webster Parish Public Boat Launch)

📏Distance/Pace: Target 4–6 miles total; communal turn-around at approx. 60–90 minutes so beginners and families can scale at a comfortable pace.
🧭Route: Out-and-back from the same location on Bayou Dorcheat (no shuttle). Paddle direction will be chosen day-of.
Schedule:
Registration: 8:00–8:45 AM
Safety Briefing (BCOS): 8:45 AM
Paddles in the Water: 9:00 AM
On-Water Sweep Begins: 10:30 AM (returning toward Sibley)
Facilities & Finish: Port-a-potties at boat launch. Food, music, and vendors from 11:30 AM–1:00 PM.
