Founded by playwright and educator Cherie Gray-Young, Lumpy Grits Artistry is a Shreveport-based theatre and cultural arts organization dedicated to telling untold Black stories through original stage productions, workshops, and heritage-centered programming. The organization centers performance as a tool for storytelling, empowerment, and liberation.
