ABOUT THIS EVENT


Celebrate Bradford's Year of Culture by exploring the area of Saltaire. Get some fresh air, enjoy nature and make new friends.

Take a 3-mile walk along the gorgeous Leeds & Liverpool Canal in Saltaire and back via the river Aire.

These sessions are designed for adults and for children from seven years old upwards as an introduction to walking and are easy grade along our amazing towpaths. Learn a bit of history or see some awesome wildlife which is around every turn on our waterways.


* Meeting point is Saltaire train station

* This walk contains steps and uneven ground

* Please wear suitable clothing & footwear

* Dogs are welcome to join, but we ask they remain on a short lead and with consideration of other walk participants.

Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before your booked slot.

Parents and Guardians are required to accompany their children on this walk.


Walk ins will not be accepted. If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket via Eventbrite or please get in touch with us to allow another person(s) a chance to take part.
