Horizontal Gig with Dawn Terry

So often life is throwing noise at us left right and centre...

Horizontal gigs are a very counter invitation to sit ‘pin drop’ quietly or lie down in a pool of surround sound live music, listening deeply, nodding off if you want to, and essentially letting the noise of the world drift away replaced instead. An opportunity for deep, listening, and focus. Lighting will be kept to a minimum; we will light candles and incense and make sure that the space is cosy & warm. We have some sofas and bits and bobs but please bring yoga mats, blankets and pillows for maximum comfort.

Dawn Terry produces vast minimalist landscapes with looped accordion drones, hypnotic drumming, slowly intoned vocals and spoken word passages about love, drugs and vengeance.
