🎄 What Is Christmas?

Every year, millions around the world celebrate Christmas — with lights, gifts, music, and family gatherings. But beyond the traditions and decorations, what is Christmas really about?

For some, it’s a time of joy, generosity, and togetherness. For others, it’s a cultural holiday or simply a season of rest. And for many, it’s a celebration of the birth of Jesus.

This week at IQ Cafe, come join us to hear the Christian origin of the Christmas story and celebrate and coming holiday season!

☕ What to expect:

• A short introduction to the topic
• Bilingual discussion in small groups with diverse viewpoints
• In a friendly, relaxed atmosphere where any view is welcome

🕒 Schedule:

8:00-8:20 - Listen to a bilingual lecture on the night's topic while enjoying snacks and coffee

8:20-9:00 - Discussion in small groups

Afterwards - Stick around and hang out with new friends!

IQ Cafe is a place that wants to create a space for you to think deeply.We think it's a shame how many people go through life without reflecting on things that matter. It’s important to take the time to think about the difficult questions in life. It can be easy to live your life and just go through the motions.

The presentations at IQ Cafe are always bilingual because we want you to be able to practice Japanese and English! For the discussion time, there are tables with English and Japanese available. Let's practice language together!
