April’s Jentel Presents is sure to bloom inspiration. Our new cohort of residents comes from all across the country to experience springtime in Wyoming. Jentel Presents provides the opportunity for these artists to share their visual artworks writing and maybe a little music with our wonderful Sheridan community. This event will take place on Tuesday April 29 from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm at the Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library Inner Circle in Sheridan. Feel free to bring your lunch cookies will be provided. Jentel Presents is open to all who wish to join.
This month’s presenters include Isidro Blasco Hudson NY; A sculptor; Isidro loves making pottery on the wheel and treats it as a meditation. He also enjoys reading and listening to media about physics life's origins and humanity's future. Zhanraw Oceanside NY; A composer; From Zhanraw’s immigrant childhood navigating disparate worlds she still wonders what lies beneath and the influence of people’s words and the physical/digital artifacts we encounter. Sue Sommers Pinedale WY; A painter; A committed introvert Sue moved to Wyoming in 1989 to get away from people. But Wyomingites are great people. So now Sue is an extroverted introvert. Anna Child Baltimore MD; A painter and printmaker; Anna has had tons of bad jobs with lots of great people including years as a dog walker listening to books. Mark Mangelsdorf Belmont MA; A fiction writer; Mark grew up in Colorado and is interested in abjection the sublime and sexuality. He also lived in Romania as a Fulbright Scholar. Shaan Sachdev New York NY; A nonfiction writer and essayist; Born in Thailand and raised in the U.A.E. Shaan immigrated to the U.S. when he was a teenager. Shaan loves wine jazz and long walks.

The Jentel Artist Residency offers dedicated individuals a supportive environment in which to further their creative development. While at Jentel visual artists writers and composers have the opportunity to experience unfettered time to allow for thoughtful reflection and meditation on the creative process in a setting that preserves the agricultural and historical integrity of the land.
The Jentel Artist Residency accepts applications twice a year from visual artists in all media writers in all genres and composers in all genres for a three-week residency. A residency includes comfortable accommodation; common living dining and recreation areas; a private workspace and a stipend to help defray expenses during the program. Jentel Artist Residency
