Letter from Trevor, Head of School (and Agenda)
Dear Delphian Alumni,
I hope this email finds you well and thriving in your life beyond the hilltop. This upcoming school year marks a truly momentous occasion for all of us—the 50th anniversary of the Delphian School—and we couldn’t imagine celebrating without you.
You are warmly invited to Alumni Weekend 2025, taking place October 3–4. Whether you were here in the 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s or beyond, this weekend is for you. We’re calling back alumni from all five decades to come together, reconnect, and celebrate the school we’ve all helped build.
We’ll also be celebrating the Class of 2015’s 10-year reunion—and the alumni-run roast committee is already gathering memorable moments and classic stories to make it one to remember.
Expect a few surprises—fun throwback “Easter eggs” tucked throughout the weekend—and some familiar faces, too. Several of our beloved long-term staff and faculty members will be returning as special guests, ready to share memories and stories with you once more.
We encourage you to plan your arrival early for Thursday, October 2nd, so you can catch a home soccer game that afternoon and ensure you don’t miss any of Friday’s events—including a special alumni choir performance led by Craig Bader, followed by the screening of a new documentary made by alumni that captures the rich history and enduring legacy of the school over the past fifty years.
Friday evening, head to the gym for a lively volleyball match hosted by Kertch—a fun chance to cheer, play, and reconnect.
Saturday afternoon will be filled with nostalgic activities to take you back: join fellow alumni for pottery and art sessions, an Art Seminar reunion, and hayrides/story time with Jerry Ripp and John Fry.
Later that afternoon, lace up your cleats (or bring your cheering voice) for an official on-the-books Delphian Alumni vs. Delphian Varsity Soccer Game!

Friday, October 3rd
8:30AM-12:00PM - Upper School seminars featuring alumni talking about their experience or work in specialized fields.
12:00PM-1:00PM - Lunch served in the dining room
NEW! 1:00PM-1:20PM - Alumni choir performance in chapel with Craig Bader!
NEW! 1:30PM-3:00PM - Premiere screening of Staff Lasagna - our school's 50-year history as told by founding and long-time staff - a feature film. Welcome to the inner circle.

3:30PM - Home varsity volleyball game at the gym! (Note: Alums wanting to sing the national anthem please meet at the gym by 3:15PM.)
5:30PM-7PM - Dinner in the dining room (a homestyle turkey dinner with pie!)
7:30PM - Alumni roasts in the Little Theater! Help celebrate the class of 2015’s 10-year reunion.
15 minutes after the end of roasts - Volleyball enthusiasts meet at the gym for volleyball action. John Kertchem will be there! Mafia, snacks and games in the rec room.

8:30PM-LATE - Socializing, Trevor’s wood-fired pizza, yummy snacks, drinks and games at the White House by the playground. Enter through the front door and have fun! Non-alcoholic drinks and food will be available throughout the evening. Stay as long as you want.
Sunday, October 5th
