About this Event

Matt Glover is the Lead Guide at Forest Therapy Victoria and the director of MGA Counselling Services. He is a trauma informed counsellor, working with individuals and couples to achieve a full and abundant life. He is Australia's first qualified counsellor to be accredited with the International Nature and Forest Therapy Alliance.

This walk is designed for those who want to experience a deeper connection with nature and benefit from the health and wellbeing offering that the bush provides.

Grant's Picnic Ground is a traditional meeting place of the Wurundjeri People and is rich with Indigenous history and abundant with native plant and wildlife.

Your three hour forest therapy experience will teach you a little of the science and research around using nature for your wellbeing. You will then expereince a series of creative, sensory and mindful activities all designed to maximise your interaction with nature and enhance your well being.

If you've never been to the Dandenongs before, this will be an incredible introduction to the beauty of the towering Moutain Ash and the peace afforded by being in the forest. If you've been many times, you will experience in a way you never have before!

Toilet facilities are available at this location. A limited bus service is also available.

Join Matt for a time of healing under the trees.
