Description:
This class meets for 6 weeks. Puppies from 3 to 6 months of age may enroll in the puppy class, provided that their vaccinations are current. Handlers teach puppies how to walk on leash, sit, down-stay, etc. Socialization with people and other pets is emphasized. Additional information such as housebreaking, grooming, and nutrition is given in a lecture/demonstration situation. No puppies the first night.

Confirmation of classes will not be mailed. If the class has filled by the time you register, you will be called and will see that it has filled on our website.
Vaccination requirements for our classes:
Age appropriate DHPP, that is puppies less than 4 months receiving vaccine every 2-4 weeks with a final booster at 14-18 weeks. Puppies greater than 4 months should have at least 1 DHPP vaccine after reaching 4 months. Rabies vaccine must be given by 6 months of age, that is every dog in every class that is 6 months or older is required to be vaccinated for rabies and current. Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccine is recommended for dogs greater than 4 months of age. Please email your dog's vaccination record to the instructor before the first night of class.
