Description:
This class can help dog/handler teams understand
some of the basic skills needed to attain therapy
dog registration. We will practice therapy dog
registration exercises and work on skills needed for
those evaluations. Dogs must be under control,
always leashed, able to perform basic commands,
and be non-reactive to other dogs. Please bring
dogs (and treats, if desired) to the first class. If you
have questions, please contact the instructor of this
class.

Deadline for registration is January 15, 2026. Confirmation of classes will not be mailed. If the class has filled by the time you register, you will be called and will see that it has filled on our website.
Vaccination requirements for our classes:
Age appropriate DHPP, that is puppies less than 4 months receiving vaccines every 2-4 weeks with a final booster at 14-18 weeks. Puppies greater than 4 months should have at least 1 DHPP vaccine after reaching 4 months. Rabies vaccine must be given by 6 months of age, that is every dog in every class that is 6 months or older is required to be vaccinated for rabies and current. Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccine is recommended for dogs greater than 4 months of age. Please email your dog's vaccination record before the first night of class.
