This a local Indivisible event in Shelton, Washington! Join us!
Billionaires continue to wage war on working people. Workers fight back! Working people built this nation and we will never stop fighting for our families and the rights and freedoms that ensure access to opportunity and a better life for all Americans.
Now is the time to stand in nationwide solidarity with all communities under attack and fight for all people.
Join with Concerned Citizens of Mason County Indivisible, the 35th Legislative District Democrats and Mason County Democrats to protest against the attacks on workers and labor support programs by this regime. If you are able, bring non-perishable food & school supplies for our neighbors, the working poor, who are trying to feed their families by working 2-3 jobs that will surely be affected by the indiscriminate cuts to labor programs and the federal and local workforces. Stand up and speak out against these assaults on our community members and resources.
We will stand proudly on the public sidewalk, in Shelton, adjacent to Kneeland Park. The sidewalk must stay clear enough for walkers to walk by, and the bike lane must stay completely clear.
Dress for summer afternoon weather; wear comfortable shoes and a jacket and hat for all weather conditions. Bring water and a snack to boost your positive energy.
*PLEASE NOTE: A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
