The HARS Orion Flies !

Following months of maintenance, the impressive four engine former RAAF Lockheed Orion is ready to fly again.

After over 16,000 hours of marine patrol work with the RAAF, this AP-3C Orion was donated to the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society (HARS) in 2017 and is the only one of its type flying in Australia, now with civil registration. (Well, actually the ONLY one flying with a Museum in the World).

When and where?
HARS Aviation Museum
54 Airport Road, Albion Park Rail
(at Shellharbour Airport - YSHL)
at midday on Thursday 9 October (that's only a couple of days away).

You can catch the train from Sydney, get off at Albion Park Rail and an easy 15 min walk to HARS.
