Lunch will be available to purchase. Proceeds will go to the Shelbyville Nazarene Youth group. More details will be provided later.
All ages are welcome!
Each item should be individually packaged for easy carrying (jars, paper bags, small craft boxes, etc.)
A basket or box is helpful for transporting your goods to and from the “market”.
All items must be homemade by you or at least by a member of your immediate household.
Please be aware- none of the food items will be made in a commercial kitchen. You’ll be eating at your own risk. To that, when you’re preparing your items, please do your very best with cleanliness when you are preparing your items.
Swaps have to be mutually agreed upon. So, should someone want your item but you don’t want theirs, you do not have to swap.
Double swaps are allowed. For instance, Becky traded a jar of her spaghetti sauce for Sarah’s jar of jam, but then traded the jam for a bag of Sheri’s dried soup mix.
While baked goods are great, please remember that folks might be looking for items that they either don’t possess the skill or don’t have the time to make. So while chocolate chip cookies might get passed over, homemade salted chocolates might end up being the must have item of the swap.
It’s not required to RSVP but it would be helpful to let the group know you are planning on coming and what item or items you are bringing.
You are welcome to attend even if you don’t plan on participating in the swap but you would like to support the teens and purchase lunch. 😊
***Please do not bring alcohol, such as wine for the swap.***
