Veterans Benefits 101
Hosted by Cleveland County Veteran Services, this monthly workshop series is designed to help veterans and their families better understand and access the benefits they’ve earned through military service.
Participants will receive an overview of a wide range of federal, state, and local veteran benefits, including:
• Applying for VA disability compensation
• Enrolling in VA health care
• Survivor and dependent benefits
• VA burial and memorial benefits
• Additional state and local benefits such as property tax reductions, lifetime hunting and fishing licenses, and specialized vehicle tags (eligibility requirements apply)
This workshop is ideal for veterans who have never applied for VA benefits, as well as those who are currently receiving VA benefits but may be eligible for additional programs and resources.

Please call 704-484-4803 to register. Attendance is limited to 15 participants per session. Registration must be completed by the Friday prior to each event date.
