Y Doug Opel's Run for the Kids

Lace up your sneakers and join us for a fun, festive tradition! Kick off your Thanksgiving morning with a 2-mile walk, 2-mile run, 10K run along the beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline. Not only will you be burning some calories before the holiday feast, but you’ll also be supporting a great cause: the YMCA’s Annual Support Campaign, which provides financial assistance for memberships and programs for local children, teens, and families.

Race Day Schedule
🕒 7:30 – 9:15 AM: Race Day Registration & Packet Pick-Up
🏃‍♂️ 9:30 AM: All Races Begin

Kids Run: FREE for ages 14 & under (optional shirt available for $10)
