Candlelight Hike/ Walking Stick Crafting

Two fun events on Saturday October 11th!

Candlelight Hike
6:30 to 8:30
Listen to the Autumn night sounds as you enjoy a self-guided walk on torch-lit trails. Search for stars or your favorite constellation in the evening sky. Then, gather around the campfire with the Water Street Hot Shots for some acoustic blues and folk music after your hike. Refreshments and activities will be in the Indoor Shelter. Vehicle admission required.
Start and finish near the Indoor Shelter above parking lot P7.

Walking Stick Crafting
5 – 8 p.m.
Create a walking stick, then head out on self-guided hike. Learn how walking sticks, staffs, and canes were used in the past, then select and personalize a walking stick. We’ll provide sticks, colors, wood burning and shaping tools, beads, and other decorative materials. Great for all ages. Bring a knife for carving if you like. Kids under 12, be sure to bring an adult.
Meet at the Indoor Shelter.
