Spell! America 250

Do you bee-lieve in your spelling ability? Grab some friends or family and test your skills in our Spell! America 250 Adult Spelling Bee. This event celebrates literary and folk traditions, as inspired by “Little House on the Prairie.”

Collaborate with your team of 2-4 adults (age 18+) to decide correct spellings and write your final answer on a chalkboard. Participants are encouraged to dress in pioneer-era attire. Earn bragging rights and a trophy.

Audience members of all ages can watch and cheer on their favorite team. All can enjoy an engaging atmosphere, along with nostalgic snacks and beverages.

Following, we will record oral histories about Morrow County as part of the commemoration of our nation's 250th birthday, for those those interested in sharing a story.
