“Operation Connect” — Community QPR Training + Dinner
Every Tuesday Through December at 1830
December can be a tough month, and 22Mohawks is bringing the community together to make sure no one navigates it alone. Operation Connect pairs practical QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) suicide-prevention training with free, catered food from local restaurants—and it’s open to everyone.
You don’t need to be a veteran or first responder. If you’re part of this community, you’re welcome.
Adult Community Sessions — Dec 2, 9, 16 & 23
These four sessions are designed for adults of all backgrounds who want to learn how to recognize a crisis, respond effectively, and support the people around them. Please bring a friend and RSVP so we can plan enough food—these will be warm, welcoming community nights.
Special Teen & Young Adult Session — Dec 30
A dedicated QPR class for ages 14–21, offered while school is out. This session focuses on real-life scenarios teens and young adults face, and how they can support friends who may be struggling.
What You’ll Get:
• Real QPR training in an approachable, supportive setting
• A community dinner—on us
• Skills you can use immediately with friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors
• A chance to strengthen the community safety net during a challenging time of year
