Dementia Communication for Families and Loved Ones

Minnesota Hospice is providing a workshop that will provide information on understanding how communication changes in each stage of dementia. Discover simple ways to stay connected and supportive. Learn tips for assisting with daily activities like meals, dressing and mobility. Explore gentle strategies for easing challenging behaviors. This course is deigned for direct care staff in long-term senior care settings and caregivers coping with dementia diagnosis of a loved one.

The workshop is free and open to anyone. 1.5 CEU's available.
