This is an 8-hour workshop designed to help you prepare for a beautiful, incredible, and empowering birth. Your facilitator, Poppy the Doula, believes that every person deserves to feel confident and in control during their birthing experience.
This workshop covers essential topics to help you prepare your mind, body, and home for birth, including:
Preparing your mind: You'll learn how to navigate the mental and emotional aspects of birth with confidence.
Preparing your body: We'll explore various movements and positions for pregnancy and labor. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one and wear comfortable clothes you can move in.
Preparing your home: We'll discuss how to set up your space for a calm and supportive postpartum period.
This class provides unbiased, evidence-based information to help you make the right decisions for you and your family. We'll cover everything from labor and delivery to newborn care and postpartum recovery.
The workshop runs from 10a - 2p each day, with a 30-minute lunch break. Light snacks will be provided.
By the end of this workshop, you'll feel empowered, informed, and ready to welcome your new baby with peace and confidence.
