Experience the enchanting allure of a full moon swim at Shaftesbury Lido, Dorset's only lido. Nestled in the heart of Shaftesbury, this cherished council-run facility offers a unique setting for an invigorating cold water swim under the moonlit sky.
Each full moon carries its own story and energy, offering you the perfect opportunity for connection, reflection, and renewal.
March's Full Moon is known as the Worm Moon, marking the final full moon of winter and symbolising the arrival of spring. It is named by the Native American tribes for the earthworms that emerge as the ground thaws. Traditionally, this full moon is associated with renewal and the awakening of nature after the winter months. It is a time when various animals, including birds, return from migration, and the landscape begins to come alive again.
Come and join us to celebrate the arrival of spring and longer days.
