For nearly thirty years, their enduring partnership has kept them at the very forefront of the Irish and UK folk scene. Their latest performances draw on acoustic material from across Dillon’s career, alongside material from her acclaimed 2024 release Coming Home — her first album in over six years. In it, Cara blurs the lines between spoken word and song to stunning effect, exploring deeply personal memories of her native Co. Derry, and the people, places and traditions she holds closest to her heart.
Throughout her remarkable career, Cara has embraced many opportunities, from folk-crossover albums on indie label Rough Trade, to recording for Disney soundtracks, to collaborations with orchestras and even leading dance DJs. It is her rootedness, combined with an openness to reinvention, that continues to make her concerts such unmissable occasions.
