Looking to dispose of your unwanted household items, such as mattresses, water heaters, furniture, and tires without rims? 🪑 You’re in luck!

On Saturday, January 10, 2026, Kern County Public Works, in partnership with Cesar Chavez Environmental Corps and American Refuse, will be hosting a FREE Bulky Waste Collection Event from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the County Administrative Building in Shafter.
