Hike of the Month - Jack Creek Park

Ms. Julie and Ms. Marianna are starting a Hike of the Month Club! Please join us for our first hike at Jack Creek Park in Southern Anne Arundel County. Scouts (and their parents) should dress for the weather and bring their Six Essentials. The hike will be approximately 1.5 miles long

About Jack Creek Park

Jack Creek Park is nearly sixty acres of natural landscape in southern Anne Arundel County. The Department of Recreation and Parks partnered with community members to improve access and provide a natural trail network at this waterfront property.

This park features approximately 3,000 feet of marsh, forest and sand shoreline along Jack Creek and the Chesapeake Bay. Passive enjoyment, including nature study and hiking, are ideal activities at this site. If you have never been to Jack Creek Park before, you will be stunned by its natural beauty and serene, quiet atmosphere.
