2nd Annual Pacific Northwest Indigenous Aquaculture Summit
Join us at 7 Cedars on September 15, 2025, at 5:00 PM at the Second Annual Indigenous Aquaculture Summit. The Kurt Grinnell Indigenous Scholarship Fund and the Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe are excited to see you at the 7 Cedars Resort on the beautiful shores of Sequim, on the Olympic Peninsula. We will continue the important conversations, knowledge sharing, and celebration of Indigenous aquaculture. Sessions will focus on restoration aquaculture and developments in Canada and the PNW. We anticipate more robust, engaging, and impactful and engaging discussion on indigenous aquaculture practices in the Pacific Northwest. Learn from experts in the field and connect with like-minded individuals passionate about sustainable seafood production. NOTE: This event is intended for Tribal and First Nation Members, staff who work for or with Tribes and First Nations or those folks who are non-Tribal or non-First Nation but who work closely with Tribes and First Nations. The 7 Cedars Resort Hotel is kindly offering attendees the most economical room rates (Governmental Rate) and double-queen or king rooms are offered at $137 + tax. Eighty-five rooms are reserved for attendees but will be released a week before the event, so we urge attendees to book early as last year all blocked rooms were sold out.
