Artworks Gallery Offers Parallel Perspective Basics Workshops
The Artworks Gallery offers Parallel Perspective Basics workshops with Roberta Nelson on Thursdays, January 8 through January 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The workshops will be held at the Artworks Gallery, 109 Fall Street in downtown Seneca Falls.
Roberta says, “Linear Perspective is intended to impart an understanding of the use of a horizon line and vanishing points to transform 2-D shapes into 3-D forms. These classes include presentations, discussions, and hands-on exercises in applying one-point perspective (parallel perspective) when drawing objects viewed from the front.” Participants need to bring drawing tablet or paper larger than 9”x 12”, regular pencil, eraser, ruler at least 18”, and a pencil sharpener. The instructor will provide information packets.
Cost is $25 per workshop. Register by January 1. To register for the workshop email
