Dear Members of the Ettrick and Yarrow Community Development Company:
You are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting of the Ettrick and Yarrow Community Development Company (EYCDC) in the Cross Keys, Ettrickbridge on Wednesday 26th November at 7pm.
There will be a short talk from our Chairman regarding current and future possible projects and the upcoming community survey. It is also a chance for you to ask questions or suggest ideas. One of the possible things to consider will be our membership subscription which is currently set at £1 membership for life. The monthly newsletter, the EYE, is sent out free to all members but takes quite a bit of work. Should we put up the membership fee to help with the cost of producing the newsletter but continue to send it out as widely as possible so that everyone knows what is going on?
The annual accounts will also be available and our treasurer, Bron Clark, will present a financial report.
We need 20 members to be quorate so please come along if you can. If you are not able to attend, please consider nominating a person to be your ‘proxy’ as this also counts. This needs to be notified to me or the chairman, Trevor Timms, in writing before the meeting. We record apologies and it will be useful to know if you are going to attend so please let us know if possible.
