I’m so excited to teach you my tips and tricks for making a piece of art you will be proud of. I have chosen my dog Bilbo’s eye as our subject matter as this gives us plenty of scope for practising different techniques.
The format of the day will consist of a series of short demonstrations, followed by time for you to practice on your own piece of art. I will be on hand to help and answer any questions you may have. All materials are provided and refreshments too.
Everyone tends to work at a different pace. If you don’t get chance to finish your work, and would like to continue with support, there is the option for you to join our weekly afternoon or evening art club once the workshop is completed. These are very relaxed groups, also held at my studio at Scalm Park, and cost £10 per week, come when you like, there’s no commitment needed. Pastel pencil are provided for your use, there are small costs for print outs and specialised paper although you are most welcome to provide your own and I am happy to advise. If you don’t want to join club but would like to continue at home you will have all the information you need to do this.

The studio is located across the carpark from the golf pro shop. If you struggle to find it anyone working at the golf club, either in the shop or the bar, will happily help you.
