We are happy to announce the face-to-face South Zone : MYP & DP Job Alike Sessions at The Gaudium School, Hyderabad on Saturday 20th September, 2025. The session will begin with meet & greet with breakfast from 8:00 am to 9:15 am. The sessions will begin from 9:20 am to 4:15 pm.
We're also excited to introduce the SAIBSA Mobile App, which we'll use to manage registrations for all future SAIBSA sessions.

3. Once you click on verify email, you'll receive an email with a link to verify your ID.
4. After your account is created, you'll see an option to register for the MYP & DP Job Alike Sessions at The Gaudium School, Hyderabad.
As usual there would be NO REGISTRATION FEE for the events. It would help the host school to plan well if the registrations are done in a timely manner.
The last day for registration is Thursday 18th September, 2025.
Please bear in mind that the registration form has to be filled for each participant separately which means that if there are 10 participants, the form has to be filled 10 times over. You are requested to fill in your full name and the full name of your school (avoid abbreviations). Be careful to write your correct email id. This is necessary information for further communication and the certificate of participation.
Those wishing to be facilitators (leaders) of the breakout sessions need to indicate the same in the google form. Please look at the agenda attached below and then in the app indicate the session you like to facilitate.
For MYP/ DP facilitation we would expect the facilitators to have done one of the new series of enhanced MYP/ DP subject specific workshops in order to effectively facilitate the sessions.
Purpose and Attendance of the Job Alike Sessions -The goal is to provide an opportunity for experienced/new teachers, coordinators, vice principals and principals from IB schools to get together to share good teaching practices, teaching ideas, their expertise, and explore issues/challenges relevant to the country or region and to share strategies and solutions. However, it is not meant to be understood as an IB subject related teacher workshop. Job Alike Sessions are thus forums for IB practitioners to be enriched through their sharing and provide an opportunity to strengthen and deepen our shared IB philosophy.
Expectations for the Sessions: In this session each teacher in their respective subject area groups is expected to bring in at least one teaching idea for sharing and discussion with a facilitator guiding the session. The facilitator is ‘one amongst the equals’ who would be guiding the discussions as per the laid out in the programme.
Please note that this isn't an IB workshop instead is a SAIBSA Job Alike Session. Further, the Job Alike Sessions do not substitute any of the IB workshop requirements.
