A Tea Party in the Paddock at Yintarini Farm

Spring has arrived at Yintarini Farm and it’s time for A Tea Party in the Paddock. Get ready to bring back the art of hospitality and embrace the age-old tradition of afternoon tea!

After a warm welcome to the farm, Lucy will invite you into a fun and playful session of nature crown or hat garland making. Be inspired to grow the makings of your own creativity using nature’s gifts, as we begin to set the scene for our tea party.

Then join Julie from SBA’s Kitchen, as she shows you how to make two of her favourite tea blends, and also a sneaky little number that will be used in one of the recipes later in the session. Then it’s time to bake!

With the recipes, ingredients and Julie’s guidance, you will work as a team to create a delicious variety of goodies, to be plated and set out on the table in the paddock.

This is a hands-on session, where you will learn new skills, enjoy delicious food, meet new folk, and have a little fun. At the end of the day, you will leave the farm with a booklet of recipes (many of which are family favourites), a box of baked goodies, and your floral creation. All of this, and the inspiration to take what you’ve learned, and begin planning your next afternoon tea, be it for a special occasion, or just to bring people together for a cuppa and a chat.

We prefer not to call this a cooking class, but more of a hands-on cooking and knowledge sharing session, where you will learn and share from my experience. I am not a trained chef, just taught and guided by my experiences and driven by my love of cooking, sharing and celebrating with food.

• Should you wish to cancel your booking prior to 7 days before the event, please contact us to organise a refund, however, Eventbrite fees are not refundable.
• Bookings cancelled within 7 days of the event are not refundable, you can, however, transfer your booking to another person. Please contact us to make the necessary arrangements.
• Should circumstances arise, we reserve the right to cancel the class or change the date. Should this occur, we will provide the option of a full refund or transfer.
