About the event

35th Annual Detachment of NJ POW/MIA Watchfire

This 12-hour vigil takes place on the beach, where the Sons of The American Legion Detachment of New Jersey holds an event each year to remember the missing. We light and maintain the fire overnight so that our POW and missing serviceman have a beacon of light to follow home.

The event is open to the public.
